Yesterday was our anniversary. We made a special dinner, fillet mignon and potatoes and a bad homemade chocolate cake… I’ll stick to boxes! At least Josiah liked the cake.
After our nice dinner we went to go play mini golf, but after seeing the course we decided it wasn’t worth the money. So we went to a clearance sale and then just relaxed the rest of the night.
It is hard to believe that two years have gone by. God has been so gracious to us these past few years! He is so good!
Well, it has been a pretty relaxing week mentally. Josiah is crawling and cruising like crazy! So, I spent a lot of time chasing him. So, that made this week exhausting physically.
Jim is working hard at his job. He is definitely turning the nursing home around. I guess the PT before him was really bad and lied about her hours and didn’t treat the patients to get better. The patient load has doubled since he started there! God has blessed Jim every place he works! It is amazing to see.
My days are spent enjoying Josiah. One day he won’t want my attention, so I am enjoying my “momma’s boy” until then.
ps~Emily, email me when you get an opportunity. I am sure you are busy with your siblings, but I want to see how you are doing.

Charlie and Melissa got married last night!!! YEAHHH!!!! Here is a picture of them the day Charlie got in Omaha for the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson will be traveling around for a couple weeks before going to Gaithersburg, MD.
ps~contrary to Josiah’s face in the picture, he does like Charlie. He chose Charlie over Melissa!!!
Josiah has started cruising on furniture!!! He is very proud of himself. He also started eating table food!!! He wants only canned baby food or table food. No more homemade!!!! Thankfully we saw this coming and he only has one container of actual homemade food left.
It is two weeks until Melissa and Charlie’s wedding, so everything seems quite busy. It seems like so much is going on, yet not much is happening. But that could be because we are down to one car. No, it isn’t Jim’s “half car,” it is my car. My axle is bent… not sure how it happened, but it is. They told us it could take until the end on this coming week!!!! AAHHH!!! I trust our mechanic though. My parents have used him for years and he was very honest with us about it. He told us we could wait a while, but we would have to replace tires frequently, but we could save for it. We decided to go and do it since my car was in the shop and not run the risk of blowing a tire while Josiah is in the car.
I have to go. Josiah is crawling towards me over and over again. (Jim’s keep pulling him back to play with him, but the boy is wanting momma at the moment)
