We are back from Canada! The trip went well! We drove a total of 4 days, two to get there and two to get back, Josiah handled them really, really well! We were so proud of him. Sadly though, he got sick when we were up there. He got a fever, and a bad cough, but he is better now. I would write more, but today is Brittany’s birthday and we have a full day.

To my baby,
As I sit here in our cabin for the week in Canada I realized your what would have been birthday is coming up. Happy “birthday” Jonathan.
Words can never express how much I miss you. Josiah and I watched the sun set and while he is sleeping in my arms I remembered you and wished you could have watched it with us. God’s creation is beautiful, but I know you have seen our maker and therefore have seen true, glorious beauty.
As I sit here I cry. I cry because I miss the hugs and kisses we never shared, the smiles I never cherished, the giggles I never savored, the first “momma” I never treasured, the 1st birthday we will never plan… I miss you, my baby. I long for just one moment with you. A moment to touch your cheek, to hear you breath, to hold you in my arms, to whisper “I love you” in your ear… just one moment.
I am so thankful for your brother. He is a delight. You would be proud of how quickly he is learning and how strong he is. Know that I have not forgotten you and I think of you daily. I loved you my whole life. You will always be my first baby and will always have a place in my heart. I love you.

Greetings everyone. We are just getting ready to go on a trip to Canada with our church, so this will be short.
Josiah gave Jim his Father’s day gift. They got matching soccer balls. They were trilled.

I recently took a picture of Josiah and said “say hi grandma!” Here is his reaction whenever I tell him to do that. (He likes talking on the phone to grandma)
PS ~ The technical difficulty is Josiah threw up on our laptop. Right now it is plugged in to a different keyboard from Jim’s old computer.

Josiah’s first tooth cut today!! I am so excited! Also I am a little scared. Afterall, he is 6 months and still nursing for a while *gulp*.
